What is the simplest form an experience of consciousness can take?
How can we investigate memory through narratives?
Do thoughts and actions in virtual worlds also count in the real world?
How does artificial intelligence learn, how does it work—and can it ever promise love?

This semester’s Seminar in Philosophy, titled ”Minds at Work”, spans topics from memory, pain, and the ethics of gaming to artificial intelligence, exploring many dimensions of the mind from an interdisciplinary perspective.

The series will run from September to December, featuring both local and international scholars presenting diverse philosophical inquiries.
